Easter stickers

I'm not very good at updating this blog with my actual art 🤦

I've recently got easter stickers printed.

First, some brand NEW designs, aimed at younger children, or new contacts who know very little about Jesus. Still the focus on Jesus' death and - especially - resurrection. Nice and cheerful and Eastery. Lots of eggs! But avoiding the wall-to-wall pastels and fluffiness that is characteristic of lots of Easter stuff.

 I also reissued my classic Easter designs as paper stickers. Aimed at primary school children. More depth on why Jesus died and rose - probably best for church kids who know the basics. Leaning into the sometimes ghoulish tastes of small boys💀!

Love stickers

You can now buy my 'Love' themed stickers.

They focus on God's love for us, and our love for him and for others.
Ideal for Valentine's day - or any time.
Not sweet & fluffy, not sentimental, not girly!

I've also made a 'Valentines' page for all the Love themed stuff - stickers, posters & colouring pictures. Now that I've figured out how, I'll do themed pages for other occassions like Easter and Christmas.

I've added three more sets of stickers to the collection. More coming in 2018...

Ideal stocking fillers!

The 'Christmas' set has 12 stickers focussing on who Jesus is and why he came. It would be most suitable for older children or children who are familiar with the Bible.

The 'Nativity' set is suitable for everyone, and ideal for making nativity scenes. I've provided two Mary figures for pedants like me, so you can have the wise men coming separately from the shepherds, as they did in real life :-)

And finally, a set of 6 shaped cartoon stickers on the theme of God's word, and how it describes itself. Each has a reference for the Bible passage it represents.

I forgot to say, I now have a shop where you can buy my stickers.

This is a real passion project I've been working on for years.

I have specifically aimed at boys in designing these stickers. Not that they are only suitable for boys, but many Christian stickers are so cute and girly that I wanted to redress the balance :-) From having used prototype versions in my own Sunday School, girls do seem to like them too. Yes, even the skull!
